Today’s Good News

Third Precinct Officer Daniel Minor recently stopped a vehicle for disregarding a stop sign at Nutmeg and Erich roads. After further investigation, he found a pistol, prescription pills and a half pound of marijuana in the car. He arrested the driver and charged him with multiple felonies.

A male reported he was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown males.

3rd Precinct

ROBBERY

1/18/11 5:00 p.m.

400 block of Westover Hills Boulevard

A female reported she was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown males.

2nd Precinct

HOMICIDE/AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING)

1/18/11 7:10 p.m.

1800 block of Southlawn Avenue

One female was found shot to death at the above location. Another female suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

2nd Precinct

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (DOMESTIC)

1/18/11 7:37 p.m.

2200 block of Afton Avenue

A male reported he was stabbed by a known female. His injuries are life-threatening. An arrest was made.
