Today’s Good News

First Precinct Officers Shawn McNeil and Chad Collins were recently patrolling on North 22nd Street when a citizen flagged them down and pointed out a man who appeared to be breaking into a residence. As the officers investigated, the suspicious man ran away. With the help of Officer Kevin Hyde, the officers caught the man. Upon further investigation, officers found a handgun near the residence and charged the man with burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A female reported she was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown male.
