Today’s Good News

Fourth Precinct Officer Robert Knight recently stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of St. James Street for running a stop sign. But as the vehicle stopped, the driver jumped out and ran away, throwing a gun on the ground. Officers Arnold Bohanan and Raymond Mitchell responded to assist and secured the firearm while Officer Knight found a pound of marijuana hidden in the vehicle. After further investigation, officers identified the driver, seized other items and have obtained warrants for his arrest. Good work!
