Today’s Good News
Thanks to the joint efforts of Second Precinct officers and members of the community, crime is down in Sector 213 on the Southside for November. Specifically, total major crime is down 35 percent; violent crime is down 31 percent; and property crimes have been reduced by 36 percent. “We can all be proud of that. None of us can achieve that alone,” Sector Lt. Jim Peace says. “It’s through our partnership with you, the citizens who live and work in Sector 213, that we have been able to achieve such significant crime reductions.”
