Today’s Good News

After a business was robbed at gunpoint on Jefferson Davis Highway, Second Precinct officers quickly searched the area and spotted the suspects’ vehicle nearby. After abandoning the vehicle, the suspects ran away, but with the help of Third Precinct officers, the Department’s Air Unit, K-9 Unit and Henrico County’s K-9 Unit, one of the men was arrested. He was charged with numerous felonies and investigators have strong leads on the second suspect.

A male reported he was assaulted and robbed by three unknown males.

3rd Precinct


12/12/10 7:30 a.m.

4000 block of Forest Hill Avenue

A female reported she was raped by a known male.


1st Precinct


12/12/10 9:44 p.m. – 9:59 p.m.

1000 Mosby St.

An unknown person(s) broke into the school.

1st Precinct


12/13/10 9:30 a.m. – 9:50 a.m.

2000 block of North 29th Street

Known persons tried to break into the residence.

1st Precinct


12/13/10 9:57 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

2100 block of Accommodation Street

Two unknown males broke into the residence and were arrested.

3rd Precinct


12/12/10 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

1400 block of Oakhurst Lane

An unknown person(s) broke into the residence and stole two video gaming systems and video games.
