Feb. 14 – Feb. 15, 2013

Today’s Good NewsSecond Precinct Officer Jonathan Myers recently tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic infraction on Ruffin Road, but the vehicle fled and Officer Myers terminated the pursuit for safety reasons. A short time later, Officer Myers received a call for a stolen vehicle that matched the one he had just tried to stop. He responded to the residence and then spotted the suspect. After arresting the suspect for felony eluding police, driving on a suspended license and providing false information to police, Officer Myers discovered the suspect also had five outstanding warrants on file. Good work Officer Myers!
