Today’s Good News
A man recently emailed to commend Sector 412 Lt. Chris Gleason, Officer Gene Carter, Detective Sarah Powell and all of the Sector 412 officers for their hard work to rid his Barton Avenue neighborhood of several drug dealers who bring numerous problems to the area. “Lt. Gleason has been in charge of our area since the summer. In that time he has been very aggressive in investigating and patrolling our community. He has been very good about communicating with me about the issues on the block and there has been a visible drop in the amount of illegal activity on our block.
“Another officer I wish to point out is Officer Carter. He has been very visible on patrols and has been instrumental in obtaining evidence that recently resulted in a major player in the drug trafficking on our street being charged with several felonies. I would also like to give praise to Detective Powell who has been very accommodating and helpful in helping us create a formal watch group on our block. Kudos to these officers and to the others of Sector 412. Thank you again for your help in these matters.”
