March 28 – March 29, 2011

Today’s Good News
A man recently emailed to thank Richmond Police and VCU Police for how well they and Virginia State Police handled the impromptu VCU basketball celebrations this past weekend. “I was present during both events and I was impressed by the professionalism of the officers during these events,” he wrote. “There is often a difficult balancing act between keeping rowdy crowds safe and allowing them to enjoy the moment. Your officers showed just the right balance of control and restraint.”
