Today’s Good News

Fourth Precinct officers recently responded for a report of an attempted armed robbery on West Broad Street. Officer Donnie Watkins spoke with the victim and broadcast a suspect description. With the assistance of VCU Police and Fourth Precinct Officer Sheryl Austin-Somerville and Detective John T. Walker, two individuals were arrested and charged with several robbery-related crimes.

A male reported he was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown males.

A male and female reported they were assaulted by a known male.

1500 block of North 20th Street

A male reported he was assaulted and robbed by three unknown males. Two arrests were made.

An unknown person(s) stole parts from an HVAC unit.
