Today’s Good News

Second Precinct Focus Mission Team detectives and patrol officers recently searched a home on Derwent Street for illegal gambling. The search resulted in the seizure of gambling paraphernalia, a large amount cash and a loaded firearm. The operator of the gambling house was arrested and charged with a felony while others in the house were charged with misdemeanor gambling offenses. One was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
