Today’s Good News
A woman recently wrote to thank Second Precinct Officer Larry Boxley for his assistance earlier this month. “Thank you for being there with me during that incident. I knew it would not be an easy situation,” she wrote. “I am ever so grateful you were there to help and protect me.”

An employee reported a man robbed the business at gunpoint.

1st Precinct MURDER

1500 block of N. 19th St.
A man was shot to death by an unknown person.

2nd Precinct ROBBERY ATTEMPT
1/28/10 9:20 p.m.
3614 Hull St.
A man reported someone tried to rob him at gunpoint. Nothing was taken.
