Sept. 20 -- Sept. 21, 2011

Today’s Good News
First Precinct Officer Herbert Baer recently responded to a call for a man breaking into a vehicle on Bailey Street. After he broadcast the suspect description, Officers Nathaniel Reese and Jermaine Easter spotted and stopped the man nearby. Though he denied involvement, the man had a stolen debit card. During a search of the area, officers also found a bag of stolen items. With the help of Detective Calvin Layne, the man was charged with six felonies and three misdemeanors for crimes in the city and Henrico, and more charges are pending. Great teamwork!
