Today’s Good News

If you’re going to steal items from vehicles, it might not be such a good idea to try to sell them to a police officer. But that’s exactly what two men did recently in the 1000 block of Hull Street. That’s when police instinct kicked in for off-duty Third Precinct Officer Glendon Cox and Second Precinct Officer Larry Boxley. Instead of grabbing his wallet, Officer Cox grabbed his partner and his cuffs and they arrested the two men on the spot. Needless to say, the thieves were more than a little surprised. Good work!
