Today’s Good News
Third Precinct officers recently responded to West Main Street for a call about two people selling drugs. As police interviewed them, one ran from the scene. He was apprehended nearby and found with illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. As a result, he was charged with assaulting a police officer and drug offenses. Good work Sgt. Bill Brereton, Sgt. Danny Rhodenizer and Officers Joe Ronan, Gary Venable, John Raina, Jacob Deboard and Michael Kiniry.

A male reported he was robbed at gunpoint of his cell phone and money by three unknown males.

Employees reported the 7-Eleven was robbed by an unknown male with a gun.

Two males reported they were robbed at gunpoint of cell phones and money by three unknown males.

Three air conditioners and a wheelbarrow were taken from the property.

4700 Wythe Ave.
A pair of sunglasses was taken from an unlocked vehicle.

A brick was thrown through the back door of the residence and jewelry was taken.

A basement window was broken and several items, including a safe, were stolen.

The back door of the residence was kicked in and money was taken.

Money, stereo speakers and an iPod were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

A laptop computer was taken from an unlocked vehicle.

4th Precinct
BURGLARY
7/20/10 4:00 p.m.
200 W. Franklin St.
Three males broke into the residence and stole several items. Arrests were made.
