The Community Care Unit has several components: awareness, crime prevention, volunteerism, the Value-Based Initiative, and Community Assisted Public Safety (CAPS). CRIMES AGAINST PERSONS

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (STABBING)

A male reported he was assaulted and stabbed by a known male. His injuries are not life threatening. An arrest was made.

4th Precinct
ROBBERY

3/29/10 10:15 p.m.
100 block of East Grace Street
A male reported he was robbed by two unknown males with a gun.

3rd Precinct
ROBBERY ATTEMPT x2

3/29/10 11:28 p.m.
6800 block of West Carnation Street
Two males reported several unknown males with a gun attempted to rob them.

1st Precinct
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING)

3/30/10 3:30 a.m.
1710 Fairfax Ave.
A male reported he was shot by a known male. His injuries are not life threatening.

BURGLARY and ASSAULT

Two juvenile females reported two known females broke into the building and assaulted them.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

An unknown male reported an unknown person broke into his car and stole a GPS device.

BURGLARY

An unknown person broke in and stole an electronic gaming system.

An unknown person took a power tool from an unlocked shed.
