Daily Crime Report

Today’s Good News
On Jan. 7, officers received a call for a person stabbed. Fourth Precinct Officers Ruddy Zhao and Scott Lancaster searched the area while Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority Police Officer Travis Christian obtained a suspect description. Shortly after broadcasting the description, the offender was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Teamwork between the two law enforcement agencies was instrumental in removing a violent criminal from our streets.

A male was found deceased at the above location. No foul play suspected. Medical Examiner’s Office to determine cause of death.

2nd Precinct
ROBBERY

400 block of West 25th Street
A female reported she was robbed by three unknown males.

3rd Precinct
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (DOMESTIC)
2/9/10 12:30 a.m.
2631 W. Cary St.
A female reported she was assaulted by a known male. An arrest was made.

3rd Precinct
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING)
2/9/10 9:43 p.m.
816 St. Johns Woods Drive
A male reported he was shot by an unknown person. His injuries are not life threatening.

4th Precinct
ROBBERY
2/9/10 10:37 p.m.
101 E. Poe St.
A male reported he was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown male.
