Third Precinct Officer
Brian Vessel recently responded to an unusual burglary call around 3 a.m. at a
business on West Broad Street. A citizen reported that a man was stuck in a
ventilation system on the roof of the business and calling for help. When
Officer Vessel arrived, he saw the man dangling from the ventilation shaft
halfway inside the building. With the assistance of the Fire Department and EMS units, the would-be burglar was safely
removed and charged with burglary and destruction of private property.
