Today’s Good News
Kudos to Officer Tori Wilson who was named First Precinct’s Officer of the Month
for July! Officer Wilson didn’t give one suspect much to celebrate on July 4!
Though the robber thought he’d gotten away with a robbery in the Manchester area, Officer
Wilson circulated the area, cut off his escape route and made the arrest!
Officer Wilson’s outgoing
personality has helped him build a rapport with many of the neighborhood
children in Blackwell and Oak Grove, making sure their first encounter with a
police officer is a good one and that future encounters will be as well. And
even though July was one of the hottest months on record, Officer Wilson kept
up his bike patrols on Belle Isle to curb crime and enhance community
relationships. Congratulations and thank you Officer Wilson!
