Today’s Good News
First Precinct Officers Kevin Hyde, Stephen Butler and Chad Collins recently tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic infraction on Whitcomb Street, but the vehicle refused to stop. The driver and passenger eventually stopped the car on Hickory Street and ran away, but the officers gave chase and caught them both. The driver was charged with felony eluding police, driving without a license and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon while the passenger was served with an outstanding warrant, felony eluding police and possession of a stolen firearm. Good work officers!
