Today’s Good News
Fourth Precinct Patrol Officers George Banks and Marc Troy went above and beyond their duties recently when they responded to a robbery/aggravated assault call in which two victims were injured at different locations. They interviewed the victims, conducted a canvas of the area and developed a suspect profile, but rather than stopping there and handing the investigation over to detectives, they interviewed neighbors, established a perimeter and conducted a more detailed interview. That last interview resulted in the officers finding and arresting one of the suspects as well as finding a second suspect hiding in the residence. They were also able to find evidence of the crime inside the residence. Good work officers!

A male was reported to be inside an apartment after firing shots into a crowd. No one was injured. SWAT made entry but the apartment was vacant. The investigation is continuing.

A female reported she was attacked by a known male. Warrants were obtained on the male.
