Today’s Safety Tip
Motorists are being advised NOT to travel if they don't have to. If you must go out, here are some helpful safety tips:
• Add extra time to reach travel destination
• Be alert for fallen trees and/or debris in the roadway
• Slow speed for road conditions
• Increase driving distances between vehicles
• Buckle up and don’t drive distracted
• Call 511 for road conditions – not 911 or #77, as these are for emergency calls only
• State law requires headlights to be on when windshield wipers are in use.
