Today’s Good News

Third Precinct Officers Jose Marte, Keir Hinton, Kenneth Coleman and K-9 Officer Sammy Hernandez and K-9 Niko were recently in the 200 block of Stafford Street around 2 a.m. when they saw three people yelling that their home had just been burglarized and the burglars were running down the street. The two burglars had entered a home on Grove Avenue moments earlier and stolen an iPad and bottles of wine before they were spotted by the victims. Thanks to the officers’ quick response, both men were caught, arrested and charged with felony burglary. The iPad and bottles of wine were also recovered. Good job!
