Today’s Good News
Fourth Precinct Officers George Soongnarata and David Stone recently responded to a business on West Broad Street to investigate a shoplifting call, but as they arrived the suspect ran from the store. Despite heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the area, the officers did not lose sight of the suspect, gave chase and caught him two blocks away. After investigating further and speaking with a store employee, they charged the man with shoplifting for stealing eight bottles of deodorant. Good work officers.
