Kudos to Officer Anthony Catoggio who was named First Precinct’s Officer of the Month for February! Officer Catoggio made numerous arrests, but two arrests – made the same day just hours apart – highlight how hard he works and how his arrests help keep violent offenders off the streets. On Feb. 6, Officer Catoggio spotted a violent wanted person who took off running, but wasn’t fast enough. Catoggio arrested him and found a firearm the man had hidden nearby. Later on, he saw a vehicle traveling without its lights on, stopped the vehicle and discovered a person wanted for multiple crimes. Nice work!
