Today’s Good News

Kudos to Officer Benjamin Frazer who was named Third Precinct’s Officer of the Month for February! After a recent spike in crime, Officer Frazer volunteered to work several special assignments in Sector 312. He worked a high-visibility assignment on Westover Hills Boulevard and along the Midlothian Corridor that included traffic enforcement, knocking on doors and gathering information on crimes in the area. He worked a traffic enforcement assignment for the Midlothian and Erich Road corridors. He also spent hours walking in the Woodland Heights and Forest Hill neighbors distributing hundreds of crime prevention fliers and the “Are You in Violation?” notices in reference to an increase in thefts from motor vehicles. These are just few examples of the “can-do” attitude Officer Frazer displays every day on the job. Congratulations!
