Today’s Good News
The public is invited to the Richmond Police Department Memorial Service at 10 a.m. today at the Training Academy, 1202 W. Graham Road. Each year law enforcement agencies across the country honor those who gave their lives in the line of duty during National Police Week. This year’s observance is May 11 through May 17.

Chief Ray J. Tarasovic and the Richmond Police Department will pay homage to Richmond’s fallen officers and also remember those who served the Department and passed away in 2013 and to date in 2014. Police Week proclamations from Gov. Terry McAuliffe and Mayor Dwight C. Jones will be presented. Governor McAuliffe's proclamation will be presented by Attorney General Mark Herring.
