Today’s Good News
Sometimes it’s the tiniest pieces of evidence that help detectives solve the case. That’s exactly why they’re glad to have Major Crimes Forensics Detective Howard Gittman on the job! Detective Gittman recently helped officers search the home of a homicide suspect who they believed had used a .40-caliber firearm to commit the crime. Thanks to Detective Gittman’s good eye, he spotted a tiny price tag that was not in plain view for a .40-caliber firearm that had been recently purchased from a gun store. The homicide detective said he believed this crucial piece of evidence was only found due to Detective Gittman’s diligence and will be of huge value in the future prosecution of the suspect. Good work Detective Gittman!
