Today’s Good News
After a man was recently robbed on West Broad Street, Richmond and VCU Police worked together to solve the case. VCU Police were first on scene and after they quickly broadcast the suspects’ descriptions, VCU Police Officer E.L. Greer spotted and stopped a suspect nearby. With the assistance of Fourth Precinct Detective Dale Shamburg and Officer Jessica Burlingham, the victim identified the robber; the officers found the victim’s property; and the detective charged the offender with armed robbery.
