Today’s Good News
Thanks to the phenomenal response and investigative work of Second Precinct Detectives Gregory Russell and Jorge Thondique, as well as Officers Loynell Jefferson, Daniel Awad, Stanley Sutton and Amy Holland, a male and female robbery duo were recently arrested. Because of these officers’ hard work, a gun was recovered and the pair was charged with two armed robberies in Southwood and removed from the streets.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (DOMESTIC)

3012 Chamberlayne Ave.
A female reported she was beaten by a known male. An arrest was made.

1st Precinct
HOMICIDE

10/29/10 3:07 a.m.
1900 block of Accommodation Street
A male with a gunshot wound was found at the above location. He was taken to VCU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

BURGLARY

10/26/10 – 10/27/10 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
2121 Newbourne St.
An unknown suspect broke into the residence and stole several items.

4th Precinct
BURGLARY
10/27/10 – 10/28/10 4:00 p.m. – 9:15 a.m.
2903 Hawthorne Ave.
Copper piping was stolen from the basement of the residence.
