A local college student recently emailed Chief Norwood and the Department. "I enjoy being able to visit the city and not be constantly worried about my well being. It is thanks to your hard work and determination that this city is what it is today, and though there is always room for even more improvements, I wish to thank you for those you make each day," she wrote. "I would also like to let you know I have been praying for you and your team as you put yourself in harms way everyday for my sake, and for the hard decisions you undoubtedly have to make. Know that I am forever grateful for all the work you do!"
