Today’s Good News

Special Investigations Division detectives recently responded to a complaint about drugs being sold on South Shields Street. Their investigation led to the execution of a search warrant for the residence and the seizure of marijuana, cocaine, pills, packaging material, drug paraphernalia and more than $8,000. As a result, the tenant was arrested on several felony drug charges.

A teenage female reported she was cut with a knife by a known teenage female.

1100 block of East Cary Street

A male reported he was assaulted and robbed by two unknown males. An arrest was made.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING)

5800 block of Orcutt Lane

A male reported he was shot by a known male. An arrest was made. The victim’s injuries are life-threatening.
