Today’s Good News
First Precinct Focus Mission Team Officer Michael Verbena recently responded to a report of armed person. Once on scene, Officer Verbena recognized a known wanted person who matched the suspect description. The individual was in a vehicle with several small children. The officer recovered a stolen gun inside the vehicle next to the kids. The man was arrested and charged with the outstanding warrant, grand larceny, having a concealed weapon and child neglect.

A male was shot during a large fight. The victim was taken to the hospital, where his condition was listed as critical.

A male reported he was shot and robbed by an unknown male. The victim’s injury is not life threatening.
