Today’s Good News
Kudos to all the hardworking officers off Fourth Precinct for serving the most warrants of any police precinct or division in 2009! Fourth Precinct officers served 1,892 warrants.

The following incidents are preliminary in nature and are subject to change after investigation. Please note that the entries listed below do not cover every incident from overnight. The listings are subject to the judgment of staff officers’ sense of what is noteworthy.

Crimes Against Persons

2nd ROBBERY

630 Southside Plaza
A male reported he was robbed at gunpoint by three unknown males.

2nd ROBBERY (COMMERCIAL)
1/11/10 7:35 p.m.
4301 Commerce Road Candlewood Suites
A clerk reported he and the business were robbed at gunpoint by two unknown males.

1st AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
1/11/10 10:45 p.m.
1800 block of R Street
A male reported he was assaulted by a three unknown males and one unknown female.

4th AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING)
1/12/10 4:00 a.m.
2900 block of North Avenue
A male reported he was shot by unknown individuals. His injuries are not life threatening.

1st BURGLARY
12/7/09 2:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
2321 Venable St.
An unknown person(s) entered the residence and stole a TV, hat, cosmetics and pictures.

2nd BURGLARY
12/26/09 – 1/9/10 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
2718 Bainbridge St.
An unknown person(s) broke into an outbuilding and stole several items.

2nd BURGLARY
1/9/10 10:25 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
2417 Warwick Ave.
An unknown person entered the residence.

2nd BURGLARY
1/10/10 10:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
2703 Lauradale Lane
An unknown person(s) entered the residence and stole several items.
