Today’s Good News

Special Investigations Division detectives recently searched a home on Bedrock Lane after receiving a complaint for drug activity. The search resulted in the seizures of approximately ten pounds of marijuana, packaging material, several cell phones and more than $1,000 in cash. One person was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Today’s Good News

Third Precinct Officer Blake Letchford recently attempted to stop a vehicle for disregarding a stop sign at Oakhurst and Glendale. The car stopped nearby and as Officer Letchford handcuffed the driver, he ran away. Officer Letchford quickly gave chase and caught the driver a short distance away. The man was charged with DUI, escape without force, driving on a suspended license and disregarding a stop sign.
