DAILY CRIME REPORT

Today’s Good News
Special Investigations Division officers recently executed a search warrant at a home on Enslow Avenue after receiving some citizen complaints. Detectives seized approximately two pounds of marijuana, cocaine, a gun and cash. Four people were arrested and charged with various offenses. Several neighborhood citizens said they were grateful for the good work.

Several Evening Shift A and B officers were recently dispatched to Midlothian Turnpike for a report of males stealing auto parts. With the help of K-9 officers, the thieves were located and arrested without incident. Detectives interviewed the males and charged them with larceny, trespassing, possession of burglary tools and identity theft.

Third Precinct Focus Mission Team Officers D.D. Melton and Henry Johnson
recently executed a search warrant at a home on Midlothian Turnpike. They arrested one person for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of firearm with narcotics and possession of marijuana. Another person was arrested on two outstanding felony warrants from Chesterfield. Officers also seized drugs, a gun, ammunition, and money.

Third Precinct Officers Benjamin Frazer and Steven Gibson recently conducted a traffic stop on Jahnke Road when they smelled marijuana coming from the car. A search revealed 71 grams of marijuana, drug packaging material and alcohol. The driver was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, vehicle violations and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Third Precinct's Focus Mission Team is comprised of one sergeant and six officers who identify, investigate and arrest individuals with a propensity for violence and those who engage in illegal drug activity. In February, the team made 18 felony arrests, 54 misdemeanor arrests and arrested 17 fugitives. They also searched two known drug houses and seized two guns, cash and multiple amounts of drugs.

Today’s Good News
Second Precinct Officers Glenn Gohlke and Jonathan Myers were recently on patrol when they saw two men running and heard a man yell he had just been robbed. The officers gave chase, but lost the pair. They contacted the K-9 Unit, which tracked the suspects to a nearby house where Detective Corey Watson responded and gathered enough evidence to arrest the two offenders for robbery. Good work!

Daily Crime Report

Today’s Good News
After a man was recently robbed at gunpoint on Rogers Street, First Precinct Officers Anthony Catoggio and Richard Lewis responded and spotted the two suspects. The robbers ran away, but the officers gave chase and caught them. K-9 Officer Montague Agee and K-9 Koda also responded, tracked the robbers' routes and found the gun in a nearby yard. Great work officers!
